Perspectives on the Industry’s Future: Technologies and Growth Trends

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies requires raising the standards of network infrastructure to handle large volumes of data. Optical technologies, such as 400/800GE, have become a key solution.

Fiberlab has expanded its product portfolio by adding multimode MTP assemblies with Angled Physical Contact (APC) polishing. Previously, this technology was applied only to Single Mode connectors, but its adoption in MM assemblies has become an important response to the growing demands of data centers and telecommunications networks for high-speed connections with low insertion losses.

APC polishing minimizes back reflections and reduces Return Loss, ensuring high signal quality and reliability of networks at transmission speeds of 40G, 100G, and 400G.

Advantages of MTP connectors with APC polishing:

- Improved optical performance

Lower back reflections contribute to higher transmission speeds and reduced signal degradation.

- Durability

Designed for long-term use, providing stable performance under operating conditions.

Multimode MTP assemblies with APC polishing are ideally suited for data centers, telecommunications nodes, and high-density networks, where speed, low latency, and reliability are critically important.

To meet the demands of AI, the network infrastructure must be continuously modernized. Optical technologies, such as 400/800GE, play a key role in this evolution, paving the way for future achievements in data processing.
