Measuring IL&RL bidirectionally for multichannels
With 100G Ethernet and beyond quickly becoming the standard for the fiber optics communication industry, many cable manufacturers want to be able to test multifiber cables with relative speed and ease. Using a single-channel OP931 and two 1xN switches with OPL-Max, an operator can test bidirectional IL and RL on high-fiber-count cables.

OptoTest proudly announces a collaboration with Data Pixel, incorporating OptoTest’s insertion loss and return loss units into Data Pixel’s software package called Blink. Blink currently controls Data Pixel interferometers and Data Pixel endface inspection scopes, like the DScope.
